Dear New Covenant UCC Family

My Sisters and Brothers of Hope, Faith and Unity, we continue to stand on the promises of God. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6  NIV.

As we transverse through these days of peril and turmoil, we must remember to take all precautions to remain safe.  We urge you to WASH YOUR HANDS! DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE! STAY OUT OF CROWDS OVER 10; TRY TO KEEP A DISTANCE OF  6 FT. FROM OTHERS.  IF AT ALL POSSIBLE TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE MORNING AND NIGHT. Check online with the CDC daily. Please do not give in to the hysteria or what may be un-factual information.  Tune in to hear your governor daily on your local news channel and to up-to-date news from Mayor Brown by going to buffalony.gov regarding steps that the city is requiring.

I am in touch daily with the Council President, Deacon Rosemary Soffin; Diaconate Chair, Deacon Theresa Harris-Tigg, PH.D.; and Trustee Chair, Bro Arno Wilkerson to ensure that we are planning on one accord and all planning is focused on what we perceive to be best for the well-being of New Covenant members and the church building overall. Your recommendations are certainly welcome. You may send suggestions/recommendations by phone, 716-566-8969 or email newcovenatucc@aol.com

You should have received a letter this morning (Friday, March 20) advising you of the plans that have been made for sending forth the gospel message and the Food Pantry.  Bible Study will continue to go forth via conference call and zoom. Confirmation Class and 5th Sunday Youth Service will continue to move forward. All new information will be coming to you via the New Covenant Robo Call System.

During this time of uncertainty and suspended face-to-face worship opportunities, we are reminding you that the financial obligations of New Covenant continue. Please review your letter for ways for this to occur.

We pray that you will not let go of God’s hand during this pandemic, that you will follow protocol for keeping yourself and your family safe, and that you will tune in for every New Covenant Worship Service.

Rooted in Christ,

Pastor Jackie

Praise & Worship

Our church is open and friendly with many social activities. To keep our church running smoothly, we have committees .

We exist to represent Christ to our community and world so that they might see Jesus and realize all that God has planned for them!

We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion.
