Jacquelyn Ross Brown was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was nurtured in a loving Christian home with a deep love of family, a strong belief in education, and a dedication to community service coupled with the commitment and responsibility of helping others. This is the foundation which has, in turn, shaped her life.
Relocating to Buffalo in 1969 she began a career as a mental health professional where she remained for 21 years before joining the Buffalo Public School District in 1990 retiring in 2013.
